Louisville Rolls Past Villanova | Louisville Football News

Louisville crushed Villanova in a dominant 635-yard performance, extending their FCS win streak to 27 games since 1987 and marking their most explosive offensive output since 2023. Quarterback Lincoln Kienholz shined with over 330 yards and 4 TDs — becoming the first Cardinal QB to hit 300+ yards in his first two games — while also rushing for scores. Coach Jeff Brohm continues building his legacy with 29 wins at Louisville, keeping the Cards turnover-free through two games for the first time under his leadership. The defense stepped up too, led by Kaleb Beasley’s seven tackles, Tyler Thompson’s first sack and forced fumble, and Stanquan Clark’s three pass breakups. With balanced offense and stout defense, Louisville is firing on all cylinders and setting the tone for a historic season.
