Louisville vs Ole Miss Ranked Showdown | Louisville Football News

Louisville Cardinals kick off their season Sunday night in Nashville against top-ranked Ole Miss — the only ranked vs. ranked matchup of Week One. With Louisville at No. 24 and Ole Miss at No. 9, this high-stakes game starts at 7:30 PM ET on ABC. Under Jeff Brohm’s leadership, Louisville boasts a stellar record, including three straight seasons with at least nine wins in Power Four play and a perfect 4-0 record in season openers. They’re also loaded with talent — 34 transfers in the offseason and running back Isaac Brown, who led the nation averaging 8.8 yards per carry last year. After losing to Ole Miss in 2021, the Cardinals are hungry for redemption and primed to make a statement on the biggest stage of the weekend.
