Louisville vs Villanova Big Spread Showdown | Louisville Football News

Louisville rolls into Friday night’s showdown against Villanova with a chance to bounce back from a gritty, heartbreaking loss to Ole Miss — where they poured on points but fell short 41-38. Quarterback Lincoln Kienholz dazzled with over 300 yards and two TDs, plus a rushing score, but the defense’s zero sacks could be costly. Villanova, meanwhile, barely edged Bucknell 17-16 in an upset, with Pat McQuaide throwing two TDs to Braden Reed. Now, with Louisville favored by a staggering 36.5 points, the question looms: Can the Cardinals cover that massive spread — or will Villanova defy the odds and keep it closer than the books expect?
