Louisville’s 2027 Class Takes a Hit | Louisville Football News

Louisville’s 2027 recruiting class took a major hit this summer as four-star wide receiver Chuck Alexander flipped to Iowa State, marking the fifth decommitment in the cycle — and the biggest yet. Once ranked as high as No. 4 nationally, the Cardinals now sit at just 15 commitments after losing Alexander, who had a standout junior season. Previous flips include Allen Evans to Vanderbilt, Jack Sorgi to Wisconsin, Kaleb Exume to Boston College, and Brooklyn Maxey to Kansas State. The coaching staff faces a steep climb to rebuild the class, proving how volatile recruiting can be — even with a strong start.
