Louisville's 2027 Class Takes Another Hit

Louisville’s 2027 recruiting class just took a major hit as two key commitments flipped — defensive lineman Kaleb Exume to Boston College and top athlete Brooklyn Maxey to Kansas State — after weekend visits that changed everything. Maxey, once a top national prospect with offers from Alabama and Penn State, had canceled visits before but ultimately chose KSU. The blow came after quarterback Jack Sorgi’s earlier decommitment to Wisconsin, now leaving Louisville’s class at 28 with 16 still pending. With several recruits reportedly on “flip watch,” including Cornelius Tims III and Chuck Alexander, the Cardinals’ coaching staff is scrambling to lock down remaining commitments and rebuild their class ranking.
