Louisville’s Bold Move to Contender | Syracuse Orangemen Football News

Louisville’s football program is on a hot streak under Jeff Brohm, with three-plus nine-win seasons and a bowl victory last year. Ranked 26th in ESPN’s SP+ heading into the season, they’re poised to be ACC contenders again. The Cardinals are making a massive splash in the transfer portal, landing the third-best recruiting class in the nation — including Ohio State QB Lincoln Kienholz (with just 36 career pass attempts) and elite offensive talent like Lawayne McCoy and Tre Richardson. They’ve also rebuilt their offensive line with four new starters. Defensively, the front seven remains strong, but the secondary is getting a complete overhaul. With all eyes on Kienholz to lead the charge, Louisville is set to make noise — and their showdown with Syracuse is predicted to end 24-17 in their favor.
