Louisville's Defensive Line Surge | Louisville Football News

Louisville’s defense is poised for a breakout season, anchored by Clev Lubin’s dominant edge play and a deep, versatile rotation. Lubin, a national top-tier pass rusher with 13.5 TFLs and 8.5 sacks last year, leads a unit that’s leaning into an aggressive scheme. AJ Green, Tyler Thompson, and Jerod Smith add firepower and versatility, while younger talents like Micah Carter, Eric Hazzard, and Maurice Davis bring energy and depth. Inside, Demeco Kennedy and Joshua Donald provide stout run-stopping presence, and Daylen Russell — a former edge rusher turned defensive tackle — could be the unexpected game-changer if he develops into a disruptive force. With talent, coaching, and scheme alignment, Louisville’s front seven is primed to dominate. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
