Louisville’s Late Push for Torbert

Louisville’s football program is on the verge of a major recruiting breakthrough, vying for top-four-star cornerback Monsanna Torbert Jr. in a heated three-way battle against Michigan and Ohio State. Though Torbert recently reopened his recruitment after initially committing to Indiana, Louisville is making a late but determined push to land him before his July 1 decision. With a visit to Ann Arbor recently completed by Michigan and Ohio State hosting him just before, Louisville’s lack of an official visit puts them behind — but a potential trip in the coming weeks could change everything. If successful, Torbert would join already-committed four-star cornerback Allen Evans, forming a potentially elite secondary and solidifying Louisville’s status as a national recruiting powerhouse.
