Louisville's Receiver Puzzle | Louisville Football News

Louisville’s receiver corps is in transition as they bid farewell to star duo Chris Bell and Caulin Lacy, both now in the NFL. With Bell’s 70+ catches and Lacy’s 60-catch, two-touchdown season gone, the Cards are leaning on newcomers like Lawayne McCoy—Florida State’s junior who exploded for 400 yards and 3 TDs last year—and returning senior Treyshun Hurry, who stepped up heroically when Bell went down. Hurry’s 6’2” frame and clutch performances make him a key piece. Add in transfers like Jackson Voth and true freshmen, and Deion Branch’s return as receivers coach could spark a breakout season.
