LOVE

Episode 03: Love (Immersive Verses series) VS LOVE really pops against a backdrop of sin... It’s a silent deep to still a deafening din. Or a crystal soaring voice over a sea of white noise. It’s buried cuisine in a sack of sh#t sandwiches. Then a spike of perfect along a flat line of averages. VS LOVE catches me with my hair messed up and my pants down. It comes groomed and pressed when I’m dressed like a clown, Feeling out of luck, like I’m not enough... Who pulls up in a truck full of stuff? When life tends to pose those questions most baffling LOVE tends to answer like a dancer, poised and laughing. VS LOVE walks the thin wire: fearless, no net, Agile, balanced, no ballast, no regret, Knee-pumping stride, spot lit, a mile high! LOVE points no fingers. LOVE takes no names. LOVE sides with you. LOVE never blames VS LOVE knows I do what I can with where I am… Groping in a closet where the light bulb got broken. I’m clawing clothes on the rod, arms flailing broad In a whipping bent-blade rotor-motion. LOVE unloads me from the clothes when the bi-folds open. VS LOVE is a story I hear every year A stable, a baby, a midnight clear Next: a ‘cooked book’ narrative (a doctored imperative) Amends and stunts the divinity isness But LOVE, the indelible giving forgiveness Is out and about and open for business! VS LOVE really pops against a backdrop of sin... It’s a silent deep to still a deafening din. Or a crystal soaring voice over a sea of white noise. It’s buried cuisine in a sack of sh#t sandwiches. Then a spike of perfect along a flat line of averages. James Rockwood ******************** Music by Pixabay: #1 Street Food by FASSounds Music by Uppbeat ; #2 Holograph by Simon Folwar Thank you!
