"Love & Death" on HBO Max is a series based on the infamous story of Candy Montgomery, a suburban housewife in Wylie, Texas, who was accused of murdering her friend and neighbor Betty Gore with an axe in 1980. The case has fascinated True Crime audiences for years, and now that it's been given the Hollywood treatment in two different mini-series on two different streaming platforms, we're here to discuss the premiere episodes titled: “The Huntress, Encounters, and Stepping Stones".  Along with sharing some trivia, we’re going to dive into the show's themes, the characters, and explore the storytelling of David E.
