Love and Torah – what’s love got to do with it?The reason we exist is to become more like our big brother, Messiah Yeshua. Living our lives according to the two great commandments, love your Elohim and love each other.Continuing in 1 John chapter 3, Rabbi Berkson starts in verse 11 and gives the example of Cain and how he could not control his own emotions which ended up in murdering his own brother Abel. We who are “in Covenant” are expected to treat our fellows also in Covenant with much humility and love, with self-control which is a fruit of the Spirit.
