LOVE CAME DOWN

Scripture: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” — John 3:16 Devotional Message: Love did not remain distant or abstract—love came down. In the fullness of time, God stepped into human history, wrapped in flesh, born in humility, carrying redemption in His hands. Jesus is the clearest expression of God’s heart toward humanity. When heaven could no longer watch humanity struggle under sin and separation, love descended in the person of Christ. Love came down not to condemn, but to restore. It came down into pain, darkness, rejection, and weakness so that no human condition would be beyond God’s reach. Jesus walked where we walk, felt what we feel, and carried what we could not bear. On the cross, love reached its loudest declaration—sacrifice without reservation. Today, love still comes down. It meets us in broken places, lifts us from guilt, and reminds us that we are not forgotten. The same love that entered a manger is still changing hearts, healing wounds, and drawing people back to the Father. When you receive Christ, you receive love in its purest, most powerful form. Today, Ask Yourself: Have I truly received and responded to the love God has shown me through Christ? Prayer: Lord, thank You for loving me enough to send Jesus. Help me to live daily in the reality of Your love and to share that love with others. Let my life reflect the grace that came down from heaven. Amen.
