Love Endured All Things

It has been three weeks since I preached on the foundational concepts of Perseverance! I hope you remember the last several months we have been examining Faith and Hope as the first two of the three concepts of the foundation for our being able to persevere and endure all things. The "Faith of Christ" is what illustrates the power we have to endure and persevere. We also discovered the "Hope of Christ" is what empowered Him and also empowers us to endure all things. This morning we begin to look at the "Love of Christ" as the preeminent cornerstone for our power to endure during times of great. We will learn early on in our studies of Christ's love for us that it is what empowered Him to endure horrible hostility and it is what will empower us to endure and persevere during extremely difficult times of suffering. This morning we will define the sacrificial nature of love and we will see in Christ's example its power to endure all things for the sake of the chosen and beloved of God!
