1 Peter 4:7-11. Foster a thought pattern that always involves Him in our decisions. In the end times, we will have more cares to cast on Him rather than less. Vs 8: Above all have fervent love for one another. We should have others' concerns/interests as a priority in your life. You cannot isolate yourself and claim ignorance and disinterest in their well being. You cannot stand in the end times as you against the world. Love covers a multitude of sins. Proverbs 10:12; 17:9. 1 Corinthians 13:3. James 5:19-20. Though they sin against me, it will not diminish my concern for them. You do not turn a blind eye to their sin. God does not. Do your words create strife with no means for reconciliation? Is this who you want to be? Inviting them to remove the barrier and do not rehearse past sins. Love seeks to break the cycle of sin, providing an avenue of atonement. Do not try to rationalize your sin/behavior or ignore it. How do you forgive the one who gives your name and location up for arrest? How do you keep the channels open to them to get right with you and God? Rather than not trust any or isolate yourself, God tells you to be a light to the world. In the end, there will be a lot of risk to open yourself up and love others. Examples: While Stephen was being stoned to death, he prayed asking to not hold this sin againt them for they do not know what they do. One of the people there was Saul who would later become Paul who wrote many books of the New Testiment. Love will make the extraordinary difference in their life.
