LOVE GIFTS / The Gift of Giving

Today, we are wrapping up our block on the "Love Gifts" or "Service Gifts"—the ones that practically manifest God's love to the body. We've talked about Administration, Helps, and Mercy. But today, we are talking about the gift that often fuels all the others. We are talking about the gift of Giving. Now, before everyone reaches for their wallets or changes the channel, we need to make a distinction. We are not talking about the command to tithe or be generous. Those are commands for every Christian to exercise as spiritual disciplines. We are talking about the spiritual gift of Giving, found in Romans 12:8.
