“Love God First”

What are we told during every preflight safety brief? Should there be a change in cabin pressure, masks will fall from the compartment above you. But we’re given one crucial instruction that, if we fail to do it will keep us from doing anything else: Secure your mask first, before assisting those around you. If we bypass step one, we won’t be able to do any of the steps that follow. As disciples of Jesus, there’s a vital first step that we cannot bypass if we’re going to love and serve those around us in life-transforming ways. This week, we explore step one for all successful relationships – romantic, friendship, family, business, and every other relationship God blesses us with.
