God gave His people instructions for the coming new stage of their lives and today’s message He’s giving us instructions to remember for the coming stage of our lives. I. Love God vs 4-5 a. What we love directs what we do b. How do we cultivate our love for Jesus? i. Spend time in His word ii. Spend time in Prayer II. Love People vs 6-8 a. Love people by sharing the greatest love of your life iii. Closest people to start loving is your family a. How do we love people i. By diligently talking about God 1. When you are at home, when you are driving, when you are laying down and when you are getting up. III. Serve the World vs 8-9 a. Show the world the God you believe i. The world around us should receive the blessing of the Lord through our lives a. When we forget to serve those in need, it’s an indication that we have forgotten God. Conclusion: 1. Let 2023 be a year, where we return to our first Love! Jesus Christ 2. Let 2023 be a year, where we create a rhythm of God’s Love to the people he has placed in our lives 3. Let 2023 be a year, where we are generous in our service to those who need!
