Love in America 046 - The Art of Love

This week's Love in America is all about love in art - the Art of Love! - starting with SoDak sculptor Wayne Porter, who is taking his love for gargantuan artwork to new heights on the northern plains ("I'm not Da Vinci, so I make it bigger!") Next, we hear from one of America's best-known modern painters, modern realist and official artist of Harley-Davidson, Scott Jacobs and his irrepressible bride, Sharon. Theirs is a colorful tale on it own, but made even more poignant when they are joined by kindred spirits Gary and Lorrie Puckett (Gary Puckett and the Union Gap) in a story of how tragedy brought friends together as family. Our Love in History feature this week is the passionate tale of master painter Georgia O"Keefe and photographer Alfred Steiglitz, and their lifelong love balancing creativity, sexuality and the changing tempers of time.
