Love Is the Answer (John 3.16-21) - 2-6-22

Scripture texts are Ezekiel 36.25-27 and John 3.16-21 from the topic, “Love is the Answer.”Two ordinances or sacraments commanded by Jesus. Baptism and Communion. Baptism means we are publicly identifying with the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ, turning from our old life to a new life, and openly joining the ranks of believers. Communion is a spiritual union between Jesus and the communicants. We unite with Jesus and each other as we commemorate His death, burial, and resurrection; as we celebrate what He is doing for us now; and as we anticipate His coming again for His loved ones. As we focus on John 3.16 note that…I.God loved and still lovesII.Our response is to believe and receiveIII.The benefits are out of this worldIf you have given your life to Christ, you are in the family, and He is coming back for you. If you have not given your life to Christ, I invite you to do so now. Embrace His love and love Him back because He first loved you. God is love and love is the answer. Amen.
