A concerned mom writes in to Lauren about her 16 year old son who is newly dating a 14 year old freshman at school. Not only is she concerned with the age gap, but his girlfriend is lying to her parents about their relationship because she's not even allowed to date. She has talked to her son about the age gap but he continues to fight with her because it is only 2 years and her and her husband are 9 years apart. Mom explains that at a young age, 2 years is significantly different than when you're older. The tough part? Her husband is siding with her son and tells her to butt out!
