By Choice  b. Take the Initiative  c.  Sacrificially - God loved us when it hurt 3. is for show verse 12 - His love is perfected in us So others see Jesus in us 4. is empowered - He has given us His Spirit verses 13 & 14 God Empowers us to love but He won't overpower us to. God gives us the resources - we have to do our part - we are partners with Him. 5.  is reassuring verses 15 -18 -love difficult people 6. is evidence - We love because He first loved us. verses 19 & 20
