Love One Another Part 3

Billy Graham once said, It is the Holy Spirit’s job to convict, God’s job to judge and my job to love. Wow, pretty hard to argue. Billy’s simple wisdom powerfully emphasizes the command of Jesus to love (ἀγάπη) one another (ἀλλήλων) and the teaching of the Apostles James, John, Paul and Peter in terms of how to do it! As we draw within weeks of Easter 2016 we really need to be powerfully re-focused on the sight of Jesus proving God’s love to us through His life, death and resurrection. If we increase this perspective to the point that we are honestly in awe of His love, then the Holy Spirit will be free to motivate us and manage us to shower one another with that same love. This is the time of year when we’ll hopefully realize, more than ever, that the heart of God longs to pour out the love of God to each of us through each of us.  Let’s keep learning more practical ways Scripture teaches you and me for loving one another.
