SCRIPTURE TEXT: 1 John 3:1-24 ​The Apostle John was present during the famous “Last Supper” to hear Jesus declare: "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.” No wonder love forms such a centerpiece of John’s theology. Assoc. Pastor Henjie Pimenta takes us through 1 John 3, in which John articulates this essential community command to Love One Another in great detail, for “this is the message you heard from the beginning” (1 John 3:11). John expresses this message actively as rejecting sin, exhibiting love, and persevering with confident faith.
