SCRIPTURE TEXT: Ruth 3:1-18 Above all else, the Book of Ruth is a story of LOVE. Through her loyalty, labor, & patient trust in the Lord, Ruth received redemption from her loss and a lasting legacy of love through which new life & a regal lineage would be birthed through her. Likewise, believers today can follow Ruth’s example in our relationship with Jesus, our own “Kinsman Redeemer,” by going to Him in our need, laying ourselves at His feet in adoration, staying patiently faithful in Him throughout the “night” of our troubles (no matter how long nor how dark that night may seem), and resting in His perfect LOVE.
