Together with his first EP, "Your Love", he presents an outstanding "Love Potion" exclusively here on Schirmchendrink! Still in his early-20s, Sonnee recently relocated from Manchester to London and is confidently forging an exciting musical path for himself in the capital. With his first EP out on Attack Decay Sweet Release, a new label from the management team behind Model Man and Lawrence Hart, Sonnee offers four tracks combining ambient soundscapes, emotive electronica and lush breakbeat rythms. The EP has been made over a transitory period of Sonnee's life, as he moved cities, changed jobs and started a new relationship. Each track is very different, representing different types of love. Your Love's soundscape was captured on his very first day in London on a portable sound recorder. The feeling of the city bustles through the track, as the melodic percussion is immersed in foley from the capital’s nightscape. 'Leave The Water Still', which earned Jaguar' s 'Dance Floor Moment' on BBC Radio 1 and saw remixes from international newcomer Katta Lily, is the impressive opening track of the EP. 'Say it now' is about the exciting infatuation stage of a new relationship, and for Violet, a beautifully smooth ambient track, is about family. Definitely an artist to watch and we're excited to learn where Sonnee's journey will lead to. For now, we let the blissful vibes of this Love Potion sprinkle our souls.
