Love Series: Desiree & Shelby

For our Love Series Finale, I had a fantastic time talking to Desiree and Shelby who are truly kindred spirits, and whose love for each other complements their union.  Desiree, who you met in Season 1 returns with her other half to share their love story and all the things that make it sweet! Desiree Morrisseau Keesick is anishinaabe, born and raised in Winnipeg’s North End with maternal ties to Crane River, MB and paternal ties to Grassy Narrows First Nation. Shelby is anishinaabe and Belgian/french Canadian also born in Winnipeg with paternal ties to Sagkeeng First Nation. They’ve been together for three and a half years and share a home with their two fur babies, Mr Kitty and Boots.
