Sarah Yenbamroong is the wife of Kris Yenbamroong, and they are the owners of arguably one the best Thai restaurants ever, Night Market. I wanted to share Sarah’s story for multiple reasons, but the main one being that she has helped propel the restaurants into what they are today. Second, because her and Kris’s love story could be made into your next favorite rom com. They met at the iconic Corner Bistro in NY where he literally fought for honor. Fast forward 9 months later, she moved to LA into the house where Kris lived with his parents. She went from being a fashion writer to helping Kris and his family grow their business to what they are today. Night Market now has three locations in LA, they have a wonderful cook book, and have been featured in the LA Times (multiple times), on Food52, Esquire, Thrillist, Eater, Bon Appetite, Vogue and so much more.
