LOVE THAT OVERCOMES FEAR!

from The Kingdom Of God First Podcast. · host Tewe Kolade Felix

Scripture: “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.” — 1 John 4:18 (NKJV) Message: Fear is one of the greatest barriers to living a life of faith and freedom. It can paralyze us, making us hesitant to trust God, to step out in obedience, or to love others fully. But the Bible tells us that perfect love casts out fear. This perfect love is not based on human emotions, but on the deep, unwavering love of God. God’s love is unconditional and steadfast. When we truly understand how much He loves us, fear loses its grip. We no longer need to be afraid of failure, rejection, or the unknown because we are secure in His love. His perfect love assures us that we are never alone and that He is always working for our good. If fear still lingers in your heart—whether fear of the future, fear of man, or even fear of judgment—it is an invitation to draw nearer to God. His love will drive out every anxiety and fill you with peace. Love is not just the absence of fear; it is the presence of God Himself, for God is love (1 John 4:8). Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for Your perfect love that casts out all fear. Help me to trust in Your love more deeply so that I may walk in faith and not in fear. Fill my heart with Your peace and remind me daily that I am secure in You. Let my life be a reflection of Your love to those around me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
