Love: the Litmus Test of Life

As we continue learning from 1 John, Ryan teaches through 1 John 3:11-18. For centuries groups of people have followed in the footsteps of Socrates believing that if someone is educated well-enough and knows what is right then they will do what is right. John sees it differently. He says we have a deeper root issue that keeps us from doing what is right even if we know it is right. John calls us to do what is right by loving one another but then shows us how this is only possible if we are in Christ.
