LOVE WITHOUT HYPOCRISY!

from The Kingdom Of God First Podcast. · host Tewe Kolade Felix

Scripture: Romans 12:9 "Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good." True Christian love is not just about kind words or outward actions—it’s about sincerity of heart. Paul’s call in Romans 12:9 challenges us to go beyond surface-level affection and embody love that is genuine, pure, and without hidden motives. This kind of love reflects the heart of Christ, who loved sacrificially and authentically. Hypocritical love pretends, flatters, or acts for personal gain. But love that mirrors Christ is honest, humble, and anchored in truth. It discerns what is evil, not ignoring sin, but rejecting it. At the same time, it clings to what is good—holding fast to righteousness, kindness, and integrity. Such love isn’t always easy, especially when it requires confronting wrong or loving those who are difficult. But it's the kind of love that transforms relationships and glorifies God. It’s a love the world longs to see—one that is consistent, Christ-centered, and sincere. Today, ask yourself: Is my love marked by sincerity and truth? Am I clinging to what is good and turning away from what is evil? Prayer: AlmightyFather, teach me to love like You—genuinely and without pretense. Help me to abhor what is evil and hold tightly to what is good. May my love be a reflection of Your truth and grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
