Love Your enemies - Audio

from Chiangmai Christian Fellowship · host Tim Dunham

It is hard enough to love our friends, how much more difficult to love our enemies, but that is exactly what the Gospel requires of us. Loving our enemies means we do not get even or seek to give them what they deserve, but it goes beyond that. We are actually to look for ways to bless them and help them. This is a love beyond human ability, it is a love that comes out of a heart and mind that understands what it means to have been the enemy of God, and to receive God’s help and greatest blessing at the very moment when we were most hostile to Him. It is only as we daily grasp the power of the gospel in our own life that we will be able to live out that kind of love for others! And, maybe it is in living out that love for others that we come to better know what God has done for us!
