At this point in her life, Taquirah felt she had a lot of emotions that she needed to express which led her into singing and songwriting. Clearly the career path of being a singer was meant for her because not too long after releasing her first song, "Lonely" on Soundcloud she was reached out by a music distribution company to feature her song on the hit CW network series, "All American."
