Loving Enough to Hate
from BPOD · host Brad Bromling
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven (Ecclesiastes 3:1). These words introduce one of the best known passages in the Bible. It is a section of Scripture that pairs many of the actions that represent the ebb and flow of daily life—ripping and sewing, sowing and reaping, living and dying. Near the end of the list, though, the writer says there is “a time to love, and a time to hate.” A time for hate? Really? This jars our current sensitivities and deserves some elaboration. That is what this sermon is about—becoming better haters! (C) Copyright 2014 Brad T Bromling
