Loving February Stars 2023

from Venus & Vesta Evolutionary Astrology

February is a month full of opportunity to find love, enjoy the sensual pleasures of love and fall head over heels.  Venus & Vesta gives us the key dates and planetary aspects that keep our hearts open for a month long Valentine’s Day. We are also in preparation for the changes due in March, including a full Moon in Leo, Mercury conjoining with Pluto, Venus meeting Neptune, a  new Moon in Pisces, and Saturn and Pluto reaching the final degrees of their signs. KEY TAKEAWAYS The full Moon in Leo, on the 5th of February, allows us to check in on what we are emitting and creating, what we are telling ourselves and what side of the scale are we from the mushy Venus in dreamy Pisces, or the dare-devil, duplicitous Mars in Gemini. In July, Venus will go retrograde right through Leo. This is like peeling back where we have given ourselves away, where we have gone for what it looks like rather than what it is. The full Moon in February is really a forerunner because it’s exactly in the middle of that Venus retrograde. Because Venus is square to Mars at the full Moon, I think it’ll give us a taster to what is going to be happening around Venues retrograde. Mercury and Pluto, both serious, hard-core planets now reach the anoretic degree, the final degree of their signs, which is known for bringing about urgent chaos or disaster (that you can’t avoid looking at) in order for their role in each sign to be completed in time – the last chance. Mercury will overtake Pluto and head into Aquarius, this is where the people are – humanity – the cat is out of the bag now, you can’t deny what’s been seen, it’s like the veil has been taken away. Maybe there’s a real possibility of so many people understanding what does go on in Davos or the World Economic Forum or in political/corporate boardrooms where these systems that enable the huge, pointed hierarchy of the top 1% are agreed. On the 15th February the Sun is conjuct with Saturn at 27 degrees Aquarius, this is where we’ve got to be a bit more serious and make a commitment, even if it’s the maddest thing you’ve ever done, you need to go with it. Anything can happen. This is karmic.   BEST MOMENTS ‘Let’s be alert to the new information that Mercury brings when he makes a conjunction to the dark Lord of the sub-conscious and hidden that is Pluto – bringing data to our consciousness.’‘The New Moon in Pisces, on the 20th February, is the doorway for love, but also of karmic associations and relationships.’‘On the 15th February – a day after Valentine’s Day – Venus meets up with Neptune in Pisces to bring about a huge heart opening, but also the glamour of the illusion increases its magnetic appeal.’‘Saturn will be in Pisces for two and a half years. This is very much about owning where we are lost, processing where we are lost and allowing that process to take place. It’s a healing on so many emotional levels.’ ABOUT THE HOST Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/venusandvesta/?hl=en   Website - https://www.venusandvesta.com  Ann-Louise Holland is a shamanic homoeopath, herbalist and astrologer.  She teaches astrology along with Steiner based anthroposophy, both of which are concerned with cultural events that bring about humanity's evolution and awareness to the soul's journey.  Venus & Vesta is a podcast about astrology for astrologers, monthly updates on the movements of the planets and asteroids, weekly detailed discussions, aligning the stars with what is happening in the world.
