Lower Ego Power and Difficulty Dealing with AdversityAired Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 8:00 AM PST / 11:00 AM ESTThis week on It’s Your Ego—Stupid!, Dr. Nick will be looking intensely into the mirror of our ability to deal with the adversity that we are all confronted with owing to the imperfection of our humanity. These include the various failures, losses, and mistakes we are all called upon to manage, from time to time. Life success is often a function of how well we get up and learn from them after having been knocked down by them. During the show I’ll be looking at symptoms, reflections of ego stupidity, and the impact on spiritual wellness which occurs when a person is being affected by lower ego power energy in their encounters with adversity. I’ll also be looking at specific ego insights needed to transform lower ego power into a healthier and more balanced place.Unfortunately, for those with lower ego power they often experience failures, losses, or mistakes, in a very personal and disempowering way. These happenings contribute to increased feelings of weakness and helplessness. As a result they often engage in excessive self-criticism for having brought forth their failings, underestimate their ability to confront them, and often try to play it safe by avoiding future risks or situations that can lead them to fail, lose, or make mistakes.
