Lower Ego Vulnerability and Difficulty Resolving ConflictAired Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 8:00 AM PST / 11:00 AM ESTThis week on It’s Your Ego—Stupid!, Dr. Nick will be looking intensely into the mirror of our ability to resolve the small and large conflicts, arguments, and disagreements that take place in our lives. These conflicts are inevitable because we each possess an individuality that makes us unlike anyone who has ever lived, is living, or will be living. It is this uniqueness in our being, rooted in our having been formed by a unique set of life events, relationships, and experiences, that sets the stage for this inevitable conflict. One of the tasks of life is to reconcile our differences in ways that can lead to growth and learning from conflict rather than the often seen distance and destructiveness that results from conflict. Conflicts that often last far too long, being fueled by the ego energy at work to keep them unresolved. Particularly, those involving our spouse or partner, parents, children, and siblings.Unfortunately, for those with lower ego vulnerability, their difficulties with experiencing emotions such as anxiety, anger, and guilt, as well as feeling compassion and empathy, often makes them oblivious to the frequency and intensity of conflicts that are actually taking place. In fact, they are often surprised when someone calls their attention to them. Others experience them as being rude, insensitive, and disrespectful when disagreements take place. Lower ego vulnerability persons may also precipitate arguments and disagreements (some may call it drama) for the fun of it. Often, enjoying the emotional arousal they experience from being in conflict, as well as, enjoying the effects of conflict on others. For them, conflicts can often be a source of entertainment. Roles they may find their way into living, until they awaken to their ego energy, include the Hedonist, the Inattentive Person, and the Sadist.During the show I’ll be looking at symptoms, reflections of ego stupidity, and the impact on spiritual wellness which occurs when a person is being affected by lower ego vulnerability energy in their ability to work through and resolve conflicts. I’ll also be looking at specific ego insights needed to transform lower ego vulnerability into a healthier and more balanced place. Please join me Wednesdays at 11:00 am (ET) when I will be sharing what you’ve taught me about what ego’s doing within your life, humanly and spiritually.Visit the It’s Your Ego-Stupid! show page https://omtimes.com/iom/shows/its-your-ego-stupid/Connect with Dr. Nick Martin at https://www.egoandspirit.info/#LowerEgoVulnerability #DifficultyResolvingConflict #EgoStupidity #EgoMedicine #EgoVoice #DrNickMartin #DrNickolasMartin #ItsYourEgoStupid
