Lowest of the Low frontman Ron Hawkins chats with SWOMP prior to their Meadows Music Festival performance

Fresh off the release of their 7th studio album, Over Years and Overnight, Lowest of the Low performed on the second day of the Meadows Music Festival in Fergus, Ontario on Saturday, May 31, 2025. About an hour before their set, SWOMP caught up with frontman Ron Hawkins inside their trailer. A milestone for the band, Over Years and Overnight marks the first time three of its 11 songs were co-written by all members — a testament to their deepening creative synergy.
