"Lowly Savior" with Edward Paz
from Resonate Church - Sermons
Christmas brings both joy and awareness of our deepest struggles and failures. The angel's announcement to the shepherds reveals that Jesus came to address our most profound needs through three distinct roles. As Savior, Jesus rescues us from sin so we don't have to save ourselves through good works or willpower. As Christ, He redeems our broken stories and past mistakes, making them beautiful for His glory. As Lord, He sovereignly reigns over all circumstances, freeing us from the burden of controlling outcomes. This good news of great joy is available to all people, regardless of background or worthiness.
