Loyola's Adair Sweeps Patriot League Honors

Loyola University Maryland freshman Emmett Adair, an Australian native, has been named Patriot League Player and Rookie of the Week. He led the Greyhounds to two conference wins, averaging 25 points per game with impressive performances against Lafayette and Holy Cross. Adair shot 61% from the field and nearly 60% from three-point range, also pulling down 6 rebounds per game. Hes one of just nine Division One players with five games of 24+ points this season, with four coming in Loyolas last five games. Adair is averaging 14.9 points and 5.5 rebounds per game in league play. Loyola hosts Army West Point on February 18th, where Adair could continue his hot streak.
