Back In the day I was on the Criminal thing/ Not having any goals just trying to maintain/ I always knew I wanted to own my own business/ But came down with the alcohol and drug sickness/ When I decided to turn to my life around they hated that/ But I knew I wanted to be a boss a diplomat/ So I turned away from Crack weed I was slanging that/ Started working more and more to the streets I turned My back/ I was bumming it living day to day / Drinking away living a cliche:/ Staying high so the problems I could down play/ So I take life by the horns no Horseplay/ Im a man I’m not perfect I can only show you I’m better/ I haven’t done drugs in years and I’m making legit cheddar/ It’s hard to gain someone’s trust back cuz there’s really no measure/ to be free you need to live under the pressure/ Hook I’m turning away from all my bad habits aye I’ve turned away from all my bad habits aye I’m not ever going back to the way That I used to be/ Drinking and driving everyday would spend the day arguing/ No longer look in the mirror saying what are you doing/ Everyday my minds on riches so my grind is not losing/
