Luar ~ Moonlight ~ Léo Artese ~ Magical Mermaid Song

from Late Nite Harp · host Holly Honeychurch

This beautiful song is about The Queen of the Sea ~ Mamãe Yemanjá. I’m sure I was a mermaid in a past life as I’m much better at gliding through the sea than walking on land these days so I connect in a knowing way with this sacred song. I remember hearing it in ceremonies years ago and thought it had an oriental feel. I never seemed to have the words to sing along with at the time but now I do hooray! I think it goes very well with the dreamy harp melodies. There are a couple of nice surprises to listen out for too. Here are the lyrics and translation. Please relax and enjoy. Janaina OdoiáIluminai minhas profundas águasPara eu decifrar mistérios do meu marNesse meu mar de emoçõesRainha vem me iluminarIemanjá princípio geradorAmor fundamental tão puro e maternalIemanjá vem confortarOh! Janaina Odoiá~~~~~~~~The moonlight became a silver rayIlluminating the sky and the sea foamA gorgeous gleam on the sea shoreI see Mother YemanjáHere she comes, here she comes along with her mermaidsTo bless us, Queen YemanjáLady of the waters, you are MotherOh! Janaina Odoiá *a traditional greeting to YemanjáIlluminate the depths of my waterSo that I may decipher the mysteries of my seaIn this my sea of emotionsThe Queen comes to illuminate meYemanjá, the creative principleFundamental love so pure and maternalYemanjá comes to comfortOh! Wounded Warriors of the Cross Gary Pastoral and clergy mental health is a mostly ignored area, especially by those who live their lives as pastors in the clergy. The stigma of mental health within those who serve in the shadow of the cross is something that invokes the stigma of fear. Many of those in the clergy will choose to suffer in their despair rather than reaching out for help. Sometimes those suffering choose to wait until it's too late to get the real help that they need. At Wounded Warriors of the Cross our mission is to lift the stigma and the veil of silence that encompasses clergy mental health and assist those who suffer in silence. Wounded Warriors of the Cross is here to shed the light of Christ's love into those dark places.
