Lubin Eyes Bednarik Honor | Louisville Football News

Clev Lubin, University of Louisville’s defensive standout, is heating up the preseason award scene with a spot on the Chuck Bednarik Award watch list—joining just twelve ACC players honored. Already earning nods for the Wuerffel, Nagurski, and Lott IMPACT trophies, Lubin’s dominant 2025 campaign—fourth in the ACC with 8.5 sacks and seventh with 13.5 tackles for loss—has national committees taking notice. Named after NFL legend Chuck Bednarik, the award’s history spans decades and honors elite defensive play. Semifinalists will be revealed November 10, finalists November 24, and the winner crowned live December 10 on ESPN’s College Football Awards Show. This recognition is a well-earned spotlight on Lubin’s relentless impact and rising star power. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
