If you take the Time to notice, it is very interesting. How this chapter starts out with this idea of fearing the one who has the authority to throw you into hell, and then right after that, if you’re willing to see it, Jesus direct us away from the very fear from the only one that we could possibly be afraid of because of how much he cares for us, so on the one hand, Jesus is telling us to actually be afraid of the one who has this great power, and then is showing us taking us by the hand and showing us that actually know you don’t have to be afraid of him because he cares for you so so much He loves us so much, and eventually in this chapter, we see one of the great lines of the book of Luke. Don’t be afraid little flock, because your father delights in giving you, the kingdom, sell your possessions and gift to those in. Need make for yourselves wallets that don’t wear out and a treasure in heaven, that never runs out. No thief comes near there and no mouth destroyed where your treasure is there. Your hart will be too these two sections connect in this idea of not having to be afraid, because we can trust God.
