Lucie Silvas! This interview was a pure delight! And in the spirit of love (since it is Valentine's Day), how fitting that Lucie's husband John kicked off this interview, interviewing Lucie! He asked her a lot of personal questions, like how much she loved his big, sexy.... beard! Lucie and John then talked all about Lucie's incredible album they co-produced together, "Letters To Ghosts," and what the experience was like working together in the studio. Lucie is from Europe and has been writing songs, playing and singing since she was a wee little thing at the age of 10. At the age of 17 she hit the road touring as a background singer and then went on to score a record deal and sell A MILLION ALBUMS! I repeat, Lucie Silvas has sold A MILLION ALBUMS. Woah. She now is a Nashville Native and has toured with everyone from Little Big Town to Chris Stapleton. She is the tiniest, most stunning creature with the most enormous voice and soul. She has been named one of CMT's Next Women of Country, and Rolling Stone just debuted her trilogy of music videos she made for her album "Letters To Ghosts." Lucie is one of the purest spirits I know; her passion for sharing her gift of music is inspiring and the way she loves her husband, family and friends so fiercely is something nothing short of extraordinary.
