A man went to the river with great hopes to fish. He sat from morning till evening but could not catch a single fish. Seeing him return empty-handed, one of his friends joked, “You are not lucky enough to have any fish!” The man replied with a smile, “Maybe I was not lucky enough to have any fish today, but I was lucky enough to try.” He also said that in life, the results of hard work are not always immediately available. Sometimes you have to be patient, sometimes you have to accept failure and try again. Because perseverance and faith in yourself are greater than luck.
