Lou Gehrig, a man who was diagnosed with ALS also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease and/or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a very rare disease for which there isn’t much known about, was a baseball legend. In his life, some of his baseball records that have since been broken include "most career grand slams ⚾" and most consecutive games played (2,130 games), a record that stood for around 56 years."  On July 4, 1939 this beloved figure delivered an inspiring speech that is still remembered today. 🧢 Questions?
