Lucy Peach. The Period Preacher
from The Resource · host Becky Felstead
Send us Fan MailLucy Peach is a period preacher, author, and folksinger. Lucy is a long-time champion of the power of the menstrual cycle and an advocate for self-love and positive body literacy. She’s educated and empowered thousands with her theatre performances, workshops, and book, using science stories and songs to shift the period narrative in our culture from one of shame to one of pride. We learn about how Lucy got to this point of advocacy and why she’s so passionate to help the world see the power of the period for people that bleed and for people that don't. I really wanted to have the conversation about how the cycle can affect mental health, and the workplace, and how we can utilise it to empower the workforce. I absolutely fan girl with Lucy, and it was such an honor to have her on.
