Lugo Rises, Royals Rally Past Red Sox | Kansas City Royals News

Seth Lugo bounced back with a gritty five-inning outing, allowing just two runs on the road against the Red Sox, helping the Royals pull off a 3-2 win. Rookie Carter Jensen shined in his Fenway debut with two doubles and two runs scored, while Salvador Perez and Vinnie Pasquantino drove in early runs. Lugo battled through a solo homer and a tying run threat, securing key strikeouts to keep the game in control. The bullpen—Nolan Hoffman, Connor Thomas, Nate Pearson, and Steven Cruz—shut down Boston in four scoreless innings to seal the win. The Red Sox, now off their five-game win streak, face Randy Dobnak in Saturday’s rematch. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
