Luke 12

Jesus warns against the Pharisees' hypocrisy while encouraging fearless confession despite persecution, emphasizing God's care for His people. The parable of the rich fool illustrates the danger of earthly security without regard for God, while teachings on worry emphasize trusting divine provision. His instruction to be ready for the Master's return applies both to His second coming and to the unexpected nature of death and judgment.
